How to read this chart
Every non-jackpot prize is a fixed amount set by the game rules — it does not grow with the jackpot. The most commonly won prize by far is the bottom tier (matching only the Powerball), at odds of 1 in 38.32; the "1 in 24.87 overall" figure is dominated by these small wins, not the headline tiers. The two odds columns also explain a quirk players notice: matching 3 numbers plus the Powerball is rarer than matching 4 numbers alone, which is why the prize table isn't ordered the way intuition suggests.
